At Higher Ground we share a care and concern for Children that we also find in the heart of Jesus when he said “Let the children come to me, and don’t try to stop them! People who are like these children belong to God’s kingdom.” Matthew 19:14.
Mark 9:36 also records that Jesus had a child stand near him. He put his arm around the child and said, “When you welcome even a child because of me, you welcome me. And when you welcome me, you welcome the one who sent me.”
We realize that children are the carriers of our future, and need to be nurtured, taught and encouraged in order to maximize their full potential. It is our plan and prayer at Higher Ground to demonstrate Christ care by providing a Children’s Church and Baby facilities as soon as possible.
